Supporting materials

In addition to the practice notes, and answers to the 'frequently asked questions' we have also developed some supporting materials to guide services thinking of introducing foil through the necessary permissions and funding procesess, and once supply has begun, to maximise the benefits.

The supporting materials are in the form of a copy of a foil briefing paper prepared for the Manchester Needle Exchange Forum, which can be downloaded and edited to support the introduction in your area, and also a report on the initial findings, and the case for funding written by Yeovil Turning Point, again posted for free download and editing/adjusted to meet your local needs. We also have a template letter for services to send to the police to establish an agreement that distribution will not result in prosecution.

We have also posted instructions for drug users on how to make pipes that maximise the collection of residue during smoking in order to make smoking a more attractive option.
